How does one get to know their spirit guides better? Well, one way is with a tarot deck. Ask your tarot deck “Whom am I speaking to today?” And pull one card.  Study that card, pulling additional cards as needed to form a conversation between you and your spirit guides.

Also see Tarot Conversations for tips to host a conversation with yourself, your spirit guides, or a deity.

Or try this more structured approach:

Meeting Your Guides Prompts

Card 1 - Who am I speaking with?

Card 2 - What are you here to help me with today?

Card 3 - Have you helped me in the past?

Card 4 - What challenges will I face today?

Card 5 - What tools do I need to meet this challenge?

Card 6 - What action should I take?

Card 7 - What message do you have for me?

Card 8 - What are my next steps?

Card 9 - Any additional information I need today?

Take time between each card to “listen” for the answers to your query. Lay the cards in a triangle with card #1 as the top point, card #4 and #7 making the bottom points. Journal about the cards drawn this way and the answers you received. With time, you will come to know your guides better and branch into other lines of questioning.
